1. What types of moving services does BMC European Moving offer?


Our Forté is house removals from Spain to the UK and the UK to Spain. But we also offer removals from Spain to France, Germany and Scandanavia.  And as we are based in southern Spain, we offer our professional services throughout the Costa del Sol area.


2. How can I request a quote for my upcoming move with BMC European Moving?


The easiest way to start the process is to complete our online quote form. This will give us a huge amount of information and quite often means we can give you a cost. But if we need more information we can call you. If you are in southern Spain, we can also arrange to visit your home.


3. Are there any specific insurance options available for my belongings during the move?


We have a basic limitied liability insurance in place of €20000 to cover loss or damage during transit.  For full coverage, we can offer up to €100,000 of cover and the premium for this is equal to 2% of the declared value of the items. Damage is extremely rare as we ensure each and every job is properly wrapped and packed and use further protection during the loading process.


4. How far in advance should I book my move with BMC European Moving?


We generally take bookings up to 6 months in advance. But the sooner you can give us a date, we will let you know our availability. We can even arrange last minute bookings as we have a large number of vehicles we can utilise at any given moment.


5. Does BMC European Moving provide packing and unpacking services?


Yes, of course. We can supply a full packing GOLD service where we do absolutely everything. Or a SILVER service where we can provide you with boxes to pack yourself and we will take care of the rest.


6. Can BMC European Moving assist with international relocations?


We can move you from Spain, Gibraltar and Portugal to almost anywhere worldwide. In fact, we do a lot of international moves to poplular destinations such as DUBAI, THE U.S, CANADA, SOUTH AMERICA, AUSTRALIA AND NEW ZEALAND


7. What sets BMC European Moving apart from other moving companies?


We care. We don't just look after your belongings. We will always look after the customers too. And we have over 24 years of experience from starting with just a few vans growing year on year into what we, proudly, are today.


8. Are there any restrictions on items that BMC European Moving cannot transport?


Yes. There are some. We can't ship excise items such as alcohol and tobacco. And firearms, ammunitions, living creatures or perishable food stuffs. Some other items such as house plants are restricted. If you have anything you wish to take with you that you are not sure about, please send an email to info@bmceuropean.com and one of the team will gladly answer  your queries or concerns.


9. How does BMC European Moving ensure the safety of my possessions during the move?


Your belongings never leave our care. We take this very seriously and are cautious at all times. Whether it is whilst in transit or stored in one of our warehouses, security is one of our top priorities.


10. What payment options are accepted by BMC European Moving?


We prefer bank transfers as these are the safest method. But we also take credit and debit cards and these transactions are handle by a well respected third party payment service called STRIPE. So any transactions are 3D secure. BMC European won't need your card details - it is all handled by STRIPE.



11. Is there a customer support line I can contact for any inquiries or assistance?


Yes. All of our numbers are manned all day. Usually from as early as 7.30am until 20.00. You can call, message, email or whatsapp. You can even contact us over the weekend if you have an urgent requirment


12. Are there any additional fees or hidden costs associated with BMC European Moving services?


No. The cost of the transport will usually be based on the size of the removal. The only costs outside of our control are any unforeseen duties levied by customs authorities. But we will make sure that all the documents that we submit on your behalf are correct.


13. How will BMC European Moving communicate with me throughout the moving process?


Usually we will update you throught the transit period by both email and whatsapp. And 99% of the time, the scheduled pick up day and time or delivery day and time are met. You can tell us how you would prefer to be kept up to date and by what method.


14. Can BMC European Moving accommodate special requests or specific scheduling preferences?


Yes. With enough notice, nothing is usually impossible. We appreciate plans change and life events can get in the way or complicate matters. Don't worry, we will try our utmost to accomodate any changes.


15. What measures does BMC European Moving take to minimize any potential delays or disruptions during the move?


Delays and distruptions are extremely rare. The only ones that are usually outside of our control are customs and border delays and/or ferry delays. But we have tried and tested processes in place and will try to mitigate any delays and keep you informed.
